February Birchbox

I recently started a Birchbox subscription to add fuel to my beauty addiction!  What can I say, I can’t help it!  Anyway, for those of you who aren’t familiar, Birchbox is a $10/month subscription where you are sent 4 or 5 deluxe samples of high end products to try out.  For each box you get 10 points, plus you get 10 points for each review you do of the products.  For every 100 points you get $10 off a full size product.  Pretty sweet deal if you ask me!  I’m only going to give a brief overview of a couple of products here, some others will get mixed with other blog posts.

So here is my February Box

 My products this month-

-Ruby Wing Color Changing Nail Polish
-Camille Beckman Glycerine Hand Therapy™
-Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Mascara
Smashbox Cosmetics Full Exposure Palette
Agave Healing Oil Treatment – 2 oz.

To start off with the Smashbox Palette (and mascara) will be reviewed separately because I have the full size.  However the sample was AWFUL!  Its impossible to test or see how shadows are off of a piece of card stock.  You don’t get the real feel of the product.

The hand therapy by Camille Beckman was AMAZEBALLS!  Holy cow, it soaked in super quick and my hands felt like silk afterwards!  Loved it and it smells fantastic too, but not an overpowering scent, just a light pleasant smell.  Definitely a keeper.

The Agave hair oil felt great on my hair but the scent was a little overpowering for my liking.  I’ve continued to use the sample, but I think I’ll stick with my maracuja oil.

I’m loving getting the chance to try out new products.  Its kind of fun to try new things on a monthly basis!  If you love beauty stuff or skincare or fragrance or nail stuff, this is really a cool thing for $10/month.  Want more information?  Click here!
