June Ipsy Bag & Realtree Fragrance

June Ipsy Bag

For those of you who don’t know Ipsy is a monthly subscription service that costs just $10 a month.  Each month you are sent 4-6 deluxe samples or full size products ranging from skincare, makeup, bath and body, hair care, nail polish etc. each month coming in a cute little makeup bag.  You receive products based on a short survey.

This month the theme was Pretty In Paradise and my products included:

Marc Anthony Beach Spray
Nyx Butter Gloss in Crème Brulee
Realtree Fragrance
Ofra Universal Brow Pencil
Be A Bombshell Lash Out Mascara
Rebecca Minkoff Bag

I’m doing this review a little late so that I was able to test out and try each of the products sufficiently over the last month. Each day I’m going to go over one product to give you an idea of my thoughts!

June Ipsy

Let’s start with the bag!  How adorable is this bag?!  Seriously with palm trees and pineapples all over it!  It’s a little small which is my only complaint about most of the bags with ipsy, but seeing as it’s a bonus I can’t complain.  I’ve been using the bag from March, but I just switched to this one, they are both the same size, the July one however might take over both of them more on that at a later date!

RealTreeAs I’ve said before, I’m not a huge fragrance fan, I find one I like and stick with it for the
whole bottle.  This isn’t going to be one of those perfumes that makes me want to change that.  THIS SMELLED AWFUL.  Seriously, awful.  I’m sure it’s right up someone’s alley, it’s just not my thing.  On a good note, I’m glad that ipsy went out of their way to make sure it didn’t spill.  They placed it into a plastic pouch inside the bag so that if it spilled or broke open it wouldn’t destroy my bag.  I disliked this so much that I actually threw it away before even snapping a pic of it!  (the pic shown is a stock photo!)  No use keeping something you really dislike.  This retails at $24.99 for 3.4oz which is super cheap, but still not something I’d be willing to pay for.

Wednesday we’re talking about some Butter Gloss and Brow Pencils!
