When The Oscars Take Over!

Its that time of year again, the end of awards season where we fall in love with the actors and actresses and their stylists.  I was kind of hoping to have an Oscar Party this year, but it has been a little chaotic with school so my fingers are crossed that we can have one next year.

Every awards show I absolutely love the fashion, and the Oscars are the most elegant.  So without further ado.

My favorites

Idina Menzel looked amazing in custom Vera Wang!  I loved the hunter green color of the dress on here and the beautiful statement necklace.  Amazing.

Amy Adams  looks sleek and chic in a navy blue Gucci Couture strapless dress.  I like that she only had a pop of color in her earrings otherwise no accessories.

Lupita Nyong’o from 12 Years a Slave, looked stunning in Prada pastel blue which looked amazing against her dark complexion.  The minimal jewelry looked perfect and the headband capped everything off.

Jennifer Lawerence was in Dior as expected and looked amazing in a bright red sleek fit and flare.  Her makeup was fresh and beautiful with her back necklace again.

Charlize Theron looked sexy and fabulous in a black Dior Haute Couture with sleek hairstyle and the statement necklace was fabulous.

Kate Hudson looked so glamorous in her white Versace gown with just enough shoulder pad.  It was perfectly fitted and her hair just tied the whole look together.

Other people I thought looked great were Sandra Bullock, Kristen Bell, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and Anna Kendrick.  Also Kerry Washington and Olivia Wilde both looked stunning showing off their baby bumps.  As for the guys, I’m glad to see Brad Pitt looking cleaned up, he looked great so did Chris Helmsworth and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

As for the fashion gurus, Kelly Osborne Looked amazing as always in her white gown, Guliana Ransic looked glamorous as ever, and Kristen Cavilari looked beautiful in her white baby bump hugging gown

I really like this image below.  Its from Cosmopolitan UK.  Take a look, which dress is your favorite?  I <3 Jennifer Lawerence’s last year.  The winner this year, scroll to the bottom!
